On Saturday, August 29, 2009, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community is invited to attend the Health & Wellness Summit.
This is a FREE event, open to the public!
The summit is your opportunity to join community leaders and organizations committed to creating healthier people and lifestyles in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community. We will come together to share successes, create and strengthen partnerships, and explore ways to address challenges.
- Do you have questions about how you and your family can live a healthier lifestyle?
- Is your organization looking to build partnerships with other programs and businesses?
- Are you interested in discussing health care policy?
- Do you want to meet people working on making Harrisonburg healthier?

Approximate Agenda
- 8:45 Registration and Coffee at First Presbyterian Church on Court Square
- 9:30 Opening Session – All attendees are invited to fill the day’s agenda with topics, questions, and concerns of most interest to them.
- Breakout Sessions – These discussions will be held throughout downtown Harrisonburg, in restaurants and green spaces.
