Finding Common Grounds

Zulfiqar Ishaq and Yusuf Espinel hosted a conversation about finding common grounds between communities regardless of background, religious believe, political views, etc.

Total attendees were 26 community members.
Discussion topics were as followed:
  • The need of the community to start understanding each other by coming together to more common grounds.
  • How we need to focus not just on a single issue like economics without focusing also in politics and the social changing that are happening in the communities and how all this different topics are intertwined.
  • It was also mention the necessity to stop putting label to individual and/or groups because at that moment we loose the human touch.
  • The necessity to serve others regardless of their background, religious believe or social status.
  • We discuss from a religious perspective how the main monotheistic religious have more similarities than differences.
  • The role that the  corporate media plays in confusing the masses and the necessity of forming groups at the ground roots to inform people and give them a better and accurate information.
  • How perceptions are changed when people come together and just talk to each other.

Form smaller groups to use people’s individual abilities and ambition to focus on the subject(s) more appealing too them and meet once a month not just on Summits.
