- Better educate adults about what persons with disabilities can do
- Promote artists who have disabilities by having the county fair feature a special art category
- Provide class credit for regular education students to be teacher interns in special education classes
- Have high school regular education students start clubs appropriate for special education students
- Increase respite opportunities for parents of children with autism
- Create appropriate services for children and adults with severe autism
- Provide more dental services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Mary Ellen Chewning The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham will assume more responsibility as a clearinghouse for services for persons with special needs.
