- Harrisonburg has really good organizations and many volunteers. But, as a volunteer, I had hard time find the right place, When I volunteer Fairfield Center, I also had hard time to find out other organization resources too, That why I bring it up this issue. How we can connect each other more effectively?
• The community resource center had general information about organization and information’s.

• As a police officer, we want to reach out people who need information what we doing and how they can get help from us.
• We has lived in Harrisonburg, almost entire our live long, We show a lot of change here, long time ago, City didn’t have mall, most people came down town for shopping, most people know each other, however, Now city is completely different from that time.
• Recently, City committee had chance to see the bicycle friendly city tour in California, We had very good impression about that. One of the big university decide ‘Car free’ area, in front library I saw more than 500 bikes that is wonderful.
• Is Harrisonburg going to change for bicycle friendly city? A: We love to… but we need to more support and money
• James Madison University located at middle of the city. Did JMU and City have good connect each other?
JMU hold almost 30% population in Harrisonburg, But they are the state university. So they are not in same umbrella. Some connection and cooperate work did before…
• What about Harrisonburg city and Rockingham county partnership?
Some of department working together, but some of them are not. The Harrisonburg city getting growing more and many branch of city governments located in Rockingham County. Needs of co-operates are growing too.
If City government and Rockingham county and JMU, EMU working together more, we could see a lot of change in this area.
