What can you do when you cant write a big check for marketing?
Asking for referrals.
Collaboration with other businesses – share or barter services, give discounts. Sponsors for non-profits.
Is there a central resource for events for local business? No but the Library has a list of 40K names.
Networking. make sure to pass business cards.
make your referral process simple.
The best marketing tactic is one you will actually use.
Become an authority in your field. Be visible.
Marketing is consistent, ongoing and trackable.
There was a discussion on Facebook and Twitter. Some already use it but the effectiveness was in question. Need more info on effectiveness as a marketing tool.
Email newsletters.
Seminars, workshops
Ask your customer about your services. Feedback helps business offer best value.
